The Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) made an important statement on Wednesday. Council Director General Balram Bhargava briefed the Parliamentary Standing Committee on what is happening in India regarding corona vaccine research. At the committee meeting, the ICMR said it could approve the corona vaccine early if the government so wished. India is currently developing a biotech and Zydus Cadila Covid-19 vaccine in the country and the second phase of the human trial of these two companies is nearing completion.

The vaccine will come sooner if the government relaxes the protocol
According to an MP present at the meeting, when Bhargava was asked by the committee how long people would have to live with Corona, he said the final trial usually takes 6 to 9 months. But we can approve the vaccine sooner if the government decides. This means that the corona vaccine could be launched early in India if the government relaxes the protocol.

The second and third stages can be accompanied by a trial
Experts believe that if the government allows, vaccine companies can do the second and third phase of human trials. In addition, the trial time can be shortened. Given the way Corona's cases are growing in India, the government can definitely consider this.
