The Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has put online the PDF of the unit test question papers of Std. 9 to 12 students. The unit test for students of Std. 9 to Std. 12 in secondary and higher secondary schools will be held on July 29, 2020 and July 30, 2020. The test question papers have been posted in PDF format on the Board's website www.gseb.org.


Answers must be delivered to the school in soft or hard copy 




The question papers of the unit test to be held on 27th august 2020 and 28th august 2020 to ensure continuity in education despite the closure of schools during the Kovid-19 epidemic. More than 5 lakh students of standard 3 to 12 of government, private and grant aided schools of Surat will give unit test. Online test papers have been uploaded on social media. Schools have been given till August 10 to complete the unit test.

After the first unit test for Std-9 to 12 students was held at the end of July in all the schools of the state, now the second unit test will be held at the end of August. This has been officially announced by the education department. Accordingly, the second unit test will be held on August 2 and 3. The question papers will be available to the students in soft copy or hard copy by August 4. This time also question papers will be made available on the website. So that the parents do not have difficulty in getting the paper. The answer book of the unit test written answer should be submitted to the school by 5th September.

On the basis of which remedial teaching can be done by knowing the raw material of the student. This unit test is not a formal examination, but is part of a continuous assessment. Based on the results of this test, besides the teacher, educated parents can also give necessary guidance by knowing the raw material of their children. In addition to this therapeutic education, one of the objectives is to make necessary changes under ‘Home Learning Programs’.

The unit test question paper can also be viewed by scanning the QR Code given in the first lesson of standard 6 to 8 language and mathematics textbook. Question papers can also be viewed on the websites of GCERT and GSHSB. Thus, other facilities have been provided to deliver unit tests to the students.

Delivery of print out of these tests, writing of answers to the questions by the student, return of the written notebook of the student to the school etc. can be completed by 10th August instead of 31st July keeping in view the local situation.
