NEET Result 2020 LIVE Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of medical entrance examination National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) on October 16 on its official website The NEET was conducted on September 13 amid strict precautions in sight of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exam was earlier postponed twice thanks to the pandemic and therefore the government decided to travel ahead with it, despite opposition by a neighborhood , to mitigate any longer academic loss. The NEET-UG was originally scheduled for May 3, but was pushed to July 26 then scheduled for September 13. From this year, the admissions to MBBS course within the 13 All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry, also will be made through NEET following the amendment in National Medical Commission Act, 2019, gone by Parliament in 2019. NEET Result 2020 LIVE Updates | Here's a step-by-step guide for the NEET 2020 Counselling:

NEET qualified students will need to register themselves on the official website Students will need to pay a non-refundable registration and a refundable tuition fee. The registration fee for General category is Rs. 1,000, while that for SC/ST/OBC, it's Rs 500.

Following the announcement of NEET results, DGHS will start the counseling process for AIQ (All India Quota) seats. Candidates who qualify in the examination will have to register for counseling on the official website At that time candidates will have to submit information including personal, educational, NEET result and contact details.

Check the result this way

  • First go to the official website
  • Click on the download result link on the homepage.
  • Fill in all the required details.
  • The result will appear on the screen as soon as it is submitted.
  • Download it and delete the print out for future use.

Admission will be given in AIIMS and JIPMER with the score of NEET

As per the earlier announcement, from the year 2020, admission will be given on all AIIMS and JIPMER Pondicherry operated MBBS seats in the country based on NEET results and score boards. For this, the amendment in the National Medical Commission Act 2019 has been passed in the Parliament.

After the registration, students are going to be given to supply their preferences of schools and courses during which they want to urge admission and seats are going to be allotted on the idea of preferences.



On the idea of choices filled, seats available, NEET rank, reservation criteria and other factors, the seat allotment list are going to be released after each round of counselling.

Students who will get a seat must need to report back to the allotted college on or before the stipulated date and time. they're going to even have to hold all the specified documents to the school for verification.
